Does your teen or tween enjoy being with children? Do they want to earn some extra money? The Red Cross Babysitting Course will provide the training they need.
Build Babysitting Skills with Confidence
Participants in our Canadian Red Cross babysitting course learn essential skills for caring for children in a safe and responsible manner. The program teaches aspiring caregivers how to run a small childcare business, supervise younger siblings, and manage various age groups with confidence. Students also gain valuable basic first aid skills, including how to respond to common childhood injuries and emergencies. This certification prepares young people to become trusted, professional babysitters that families can rely on.

- Caring for children of all ages
- Creating safe environments and preventing accidents
- Fire safety and prevention
- What to do in an emergency
- Good decision-making and leadership skills
- Basic First Aid skills
Participants will take home the Red Cross Manual and certification card.
