Policies and Procedures
If you are currently registered in the FALL session and would like to register in the WINTER session. there will be a week which will allow the current customers to register for the same day and time for the winter session. For customers who would like to change their day and time or add a sibling to the program, there will be an additional week following pre-registration to allow for those changes. General registration will open after the second week of pre-registration.
If you are currently registered in the WINTER session and would like to register in the SPRING session. there will be a week which will allow the current customers to register for the same day and time for the winter session. If you are currently registered in the SPRING session and would like to register for SUMMER, there will be a scheduled week for pre-registration to allow the current customers to register prior to general registration.
If you are currently registered in the SUMMER session and would like to register for FALL, there will be a scheduled week for pre-registration to allow the current customers to register prior to general registration.
Registration can be made online, in person or by phone. A non-refundable $50 deposit is required per swimmer to reserve a spot. This deposit is applied towards registration. We accept Visa or Master Card or you can send a cheque to your Swim Time office within 48 hours of registration.
The balance of the registration fee is due on the first day of lessons. Failure to send your payments to Swim Time will result in the loss of your spot as well as your deposit.
Confirmation of registration will be made by email within 48 hours after registration.
HST will be charged on all our services.
Sibling discount of $15, 3 or more children 10%, full year of $80 per child (for Fall, Winter and Spring session to be paid in September in full).
Largest single discount applies. Discounts do not apply to advanced courses
CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS
There are no refunds.
Cancellation prior to the start of the session will result in the loss of your deposit. However, once a session begins a credit will only be given for medical reasons, which must be supported by written cancellation and a doctor’s note. A $50 administration fee, plus the cost of classes used up to the date of written notification received, will be deducted from the credit issued.

Should you require a day or time change due to a scheduling conflict, it takes time on our part to accommodate your request, therefore, a $15 change fee per child applies.
Parents are welcome to sit and watch their child’s class in our viewing gallery or on the pool deck. Please note that food, drink and shoes are not permitted on the pool deck, as these are health and safety regulations. No changing of diapers or clothes is permitted in the viewing gallery or on the pool deck.
Each participant is allotted one makeup class per session (maximum). Dates will be set one week after the start of each session. The makeup class can be booked after the regular scheduled class has officially been missed. There are enough time slots for each registered participant to receive one makeup. There are no makeup carryovers between sessions. Swim Time does not guarantee specific instructors for makeup classes. Absenteeism for any makeup will result in a lost class (there are no makeups for a makeup). In the event of lesson cancellation by Swim Time due to unforeseen pool closures/break downs or inclement weather, we will reschedule your lesson.
Please have your child come to class prepared with a towel and bathing suit. Long hair should be pulled back. Goggles are optional, based on personal preference. All children under the age of 4 or not toilet trained must wear an approved elasticized legged swim diaper, such as “Swim Nappies” or “Monkey Doodlez”. NO EXCEPTIONS! They are available at the front desk.
Please note that the privacy cubicles are for changing purposes only. We have provided cubbies, hooks and shelves for the storage of clothing and other belongings. All families with mixed genders must use the Family change room. Please do not leave any valuables in the change rooms. Swim Time accepts no responsibility for lost or stolen items. No food or drinks are permitted in the changerooms. Cell phones are prohibited in the changerooms.
No photography allowed in the change rooms or the pool area. If you would like to take a picture of your child, you must make arrangements with a staff member at the front desk.
